Now, how do you make most out of it?
Before you can start enjoying all the media files with your HTPC, you need to configure the BIOS, install the operating system and configure it properly.
Let’s boot up your HTPC for the first time.
Press the ”Delete” key to enter the BIOS setup on startup.
Change the boot priority if you want to install an OS from a USB stick.
Change the USB drive as the first line in the ”Hard Drive BIOS Priorities” in the ”BIOS Features” menu.
You can also adjust the fan speed settings from the BIOS setup. Go to fan speed settings and set both CPU and case fans to minimum.
Value HTPC
Press the ”Delete” key to enter the BIOS setup on startup.

Performance HTPC
When you boot up your computer for the first time, you will get a “New CPU installed!” message.
Press the ”F1” key to run SETUP.
Go to Boot options and change the boot priority if you want to install an OS from a USB stick.
Change the USB drive as the first line in the “Boot Option #1” in the “Boot Option Priorities”.
You can also adjust the fan speed settings from the BIOS setup. Go to “Qfan Control” and set both CPU and case fan to silent.
